Spiral Binding

Binding and Spiral Binding help?

Okay, I can’t find a way to do it myself, but I want to put together a journal for my girlfriend, I have all the poetry and I have a hard back and front for cover and such, but I want to spiral bind, or bind it all together somehow.

Kinko’s definitely does it (plastic “combs” or wire spirals, at least), and doesn’t cost too much (a few dollars, but some will cost a bit more than others). Not sure if the “hard” covers will add much to the normal cost, but probably not unless they’re thick or really hard?

(you can have just one done though, not have to do 25 or more at a time–just shows some of the wire and comb possibilities)

Probably most other “copier” departments in office supply stores do it too.

As for doing it yourself, many teachers in elementary school have access to simple binders that do the same thing, and you might be able to get access to one that way. You can also buy them yourself, but even the cheapest ones aren’t all that cheap.
