Piece of a staple in my finger?
So I was too lazy to get a staple remover today, and so I tried peeling off the ends of the staple on my own using my thumb…and the staple PUNCTURED my thumb so I was like, AHH WTF. and went to go wash and band-aid it.
Well, AFTER I took it out immidietly when it came in.
And so when I took the band-aid off later, there was a gray dot.
I thought that it was a piece of the staple still in my thumb…but it looked deep.
On the other hand, it COULD’ve been a pen mark.
Idk what it was, but when I tried washing it and squeezed my thumb, blood came out and then the gray thing disappeared.
Did it enter my bloodstream and am I going to die? -.-”
Or will my body dissolve it?
Or what?
Idk.
It coulda been a gray spot, but I wanna know what might happen.
(I got the tetanus shot still in effect btw)
Even if the gray thing was part of the staple and it is still inside, your body will wall it off. Don’ worry about it.
Get a staple remover. Or use a knife.
