stereo question: how to hook up old mag cartridge record player to get output for recording ?

There is no place on the amp for magnetic cartridge output to the tape machine, so i can record an old record on a cassette tape. Record player has only one set of output contacts, and these go to the amp… i believe this is a possible act, but i am unable to make the connections. can you help me ?

This is a good preamp for magnetic cartridge turntables.

Hook the turntable’s grounding wire & two RCA outputs to the preamp’s inputs.

Hook the preamp’s outputs to any line inputs on your amp.
