What should I use to burn music? CDR or CDRW?

I used verbatim CDRs and none of my two laptops will burn music on them using windows media player or itunes. I eep getting an error message saying that I have not inserted a blank cd wen I have.

u can try NERO Software for burning. Use CDRW……
If using CDR, allow multi-session while burnig. then u can use the same CD again for the purpose.
Use an new Blank CD ROM and try in NERO. Smart
