After I put up my fence what to do who do I contact?

Hi I already have a chain link fence when I bought my house but I want vinyl strips on it and im redoing the gate in front. After I get that done do I have to contact anyone or do the permit contract workers take care of it and report it for you?. I live in Florida by the way. Thanks and take care.
The workers that i am going to hire all have permits. Will they take care of everything for me or should I contact my county?

You get a permit BEFORE you do the work, not after. Contact your city or county building official to see if you need a permit. You might not need one for what you are doing.

If you are in a subdivision with deed restrictions, you may need permission from the board of directors BEFORE doing the work.
